You can expect to see a gradual decrease in the hair thickness and in the amount of hair present. In addition, you may also see a decrease in stubble, rashes and ingrown hairs!

We ask that you are freshly showered or bathed with completely clean skin, without lotions, oils, creams or fragrances of any kind before coming in.

The treatment area should be shaved completely prior to treatment. Legs should be shaved no sooner than 24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid irritation.

Do not wax, tweeze, epilate or use chemical depilatories between laser treatments. Since the laser targets the root of the hair, it must be present for the treatment to be effective. Shaving is the only form of hair removal recommended during the course of your treatments.

Avoid sun exposure to the treatment area, and do not use UV tanning beds at all for two weeks before treatment.
Use a broad-spectrum sunblock with an SPF of 30 or above on a daily basis (rain or shine).

Do not use any topical products that cause photosensitivity (e.g. hydroxy acids, salicylic acid, retinols, and benzoyl peroxide) in the treatment areas for three days before treatment. Use a gentle cleanser and lotion on treated areas.

Follow instructions regarding all oral prescription medications that we provided at your medical laser consultation. If you are taking any new or different medications, including antibiotics, contact our office prior to your appointment.

Do not have BOTOX® injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels or microdermabrasion in the treatment area for at least 14 days before laser hair removal.

We are proud to own Elite IQ technology. Elite iQ treatments offer quick, easy, and customized laser hair removal using smart technology. You can now permanently reduce unwanted hair with a treatment personalized to your specific skin type.

Shaving, plucking, tweezing, waxing—all are temporary fixes for unwanted hair. With our laser hair removal treatments, you can quickly and easily reduce unwanted hair on your body or face with longer-lasting results.

What kind Of Laser Do you use?

This treatment is safe for all skin types, including light and dark skin and most hair colors. Work with your provider to determine the best treatment options for you!

Is laser hair removal right for me?

Our hair naturally grows in 3 different stages. All our hair is not in the same stage at the same time, so when an area is treated only a percentage of hair follicles will be affected. Therefore, to effectively reduce your unwanted hair, multiple treatments are necessary.

A series of 3-6 treatments is recommended for optimal results but, every patient is different. Work with your provider to develop a plan that is right for you!

Why are multiple treatments needed?

how many treatments are needed?

Treatments can take from just 5-60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

how long do treatments take?

Treatments are virtually painless and will vary patient to patient. Patients describe a range of sensations during treatment from tingling to the snapping of a rubber band.

Does laser hair removal hurt?

Treatment areas include face, underarms, arms, legs, back, bikini, chest, and more!

More About Laser

It depends on the person, the skin, and hair type. For most people redness is mostly gone after 30 minutes to an hour.

Avoid perfumes, scrubs and other irritants the day of your service, then wait at least 3-5 days to exfoliate again.

Avoid hot tubs, bodies of water, sun/tanning beds, and sweaty activities for 24 hours.

For brides or if you are going to a special occasion, I recommend waxing a month before to see how your skin reacts. If everything is fine, schedule another wax a day or two before your event

If you have been waxed for the first time, a few bumps and/or pimples are common. If you broke out everywhere there can be a few reasons for this, but the most common is that your hair follicles have been irritated by sweat and/or bacteria. Your follicles are not used to having the hair pulled out so they are easy to irritate. Sweat, which contains urea and salt, is considered irritating to your hair follicles, so it is easy for your follicles to be extra sensitive to any type of sweat or bacteria the first time around. Your second and third waxings should be less irritating.

If bumps or pimples have appeared a light amount of tea tree oil applied directly with a Q-tip, or our favorite ingrown hair serum by Whish, FLAWLESS,  helps clear these up in a few days. You also may just take a dry wash cloth and scrub the bumps and leave them to dry out, no lotion is needed.

Can Mature Skin be Waxed?

Will my skin be really irritated?
what can't i do after my wax?

What if I break out?

We only allow one person in the waxing room at a time. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable while getting waxed and helping you feel enough support by your esthetician!

Facial Waxing:
Please make sure you do not touch the area waxed for 24 hours. Bacteria on your fingers will get into your delicate open pores and cause pimples. If you do touch your waxed skin, just rinse it off with cold water or apply witchazel or toner. We personally like to cleanse our face with a gentle facewash twice before bed the day of being waxed.

Body Waxing:
EXFOLIATE! About 3-5 days after your wax you can start exfoliating. This is the most important thing you can do to help exfoliate built up dead skin out of the way of any baby hairs making their way above the surface. Dead skin can be too heavy for hairs to break through and can cause hairs to grow ingrown. Our favorite sugar scrub is by Whish. You can also use exfoliating body washes and exfoliating gloves. Loofahs and rags are not enough to use so don't resort to these alone.

HYDRATE! One of the simplest things that is so easily forgotten about. Your skin and hairs will thank you for hydrating them and it also will benefit your next wax results and contributes to a more painless wax!

Clients typically schedule appointments on a 3-6 week basis for all body waxing services. All hair types are different, but as you wax, each time your hair tends to get thinner, lighter and much softer. Our ultimate goal is to have your hairs take longer to grow back and extend the times in-between waxes!

Yes. However, we are unable to wax if clients are on certain medications or anti-wrinkle/anti-aging creams. These creams contain ingredients that thin your skin and can make your skin “lift” which almost looks like a little burn mark. Our no-go for waxing products include retinol, alpha hydroxyl acids, tretinoin, oral acne perscriptions, and bleaching agents like hydroquinone.

can i bring a friend for support? I'm Nervous!!!

What do i need to do for aftercare?

How long will my hair take to grow back?

Yes, if you don't care, we don't care! You MUST wear either a diva cup or a new tampon. You will be refused service otherwise. Also note, during your cycle your skin will be more sensitive during your wax.

Can I get waxed on my cycle?

If you have no reason not to, some people find it helpful to take ibuprofen about 20 minutes before your service.

Exfoliate 2-3 times a week before your wax to loosen any hairs stuck underneath dead skin. Follow up with moisturizer to rehydrate your freshly exfoliated skin and hairs.

If you are a female client, schedule your waxing service the first 2 weeks after your cycle. Your sensitivity level is a lot less during this time.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these can stimulate your nervous system, making you more sensitive and increase redness after waxing. Pregnancy also increases sensitivity.

Avoid tanning at least 24 hours before your appointment.

What do i need to do before my wax?

To get the best waxing results, we need your hair to be at least one-fourth of an inch long, think of a long grain of rice. This is an average of 2 weeks of growth. Yes, it seems like a long time to grow, but it’s worth the waxing results!

We prefer the hair longer so if yours is longer than 1/4th of an inch long, DON'T TRIM! The longer hair will help give you smoother results quicker as well as it makes it slightly more painless as there is more leverage of hair above the skin rather than what's growing underneath.

You are not a candidate if you rub your eyes frequently, this will cause the extension to fall out sooner.

If you have highly sensitive skin, extreme allergies, watery eyes, very curly or thin fragile lashes, or no lashes we would recommend alternatives to lash extensions!

It is not recommended. Extensions help create the effect of using mascara, so mascara isn't needed!

Most mascaras are oil based therefore will cause the adhesion to break up sooner. Waterproof mascara is also very difficult to remove, therefore causing extensions to clump together.

how long do they last?

Can everyone get eyelash extensions?

Can I wear mascara with extensions?

Arrive with no make-up. We would need a clean base in order for proper adhesion. To have a more relaxed experience, avoid any caffeinated beverages before your treatment. If you wear contact lenses, it is best to take them out before your treatment to avoid dryness. Most clients use this time to take a catnap and enjoy some rest!

The lashes can take up to two months to completely be shed out but it is most common and highly recommended to come in every 2 to 3 weeks after initial full set of application to replace any eyelashes that may have shed out. How long your eyelash extensions will last really depends on two main things – how well you follow the aftercare instructions, and your own natural eyelash growth cycle.

what do i need to do before my appointment?

When done correctly by a professional, extensions will not damage your natural lash.

Extensions must be placed individually, not in clumps and must be separated properly in order for lashes to grow naturally. Many places do the mistake of “stacking” which cause damage to the lash by pulling them out in clusters or weighing them down causing irritation. That is why it is important that this procedure must be done by a licensed professional specially trained in extensions!

Also, to prevent damage, do not rub, pull or pluck out any extensions yourself. Let them fall out naturally and if you do decide you want them off sooner, schedule an appointment for us to remove them using professional eyelash extension adhesive remover.

Will Lash Extensions damage my natural lashes?

The process takes about 1-2 hours depending on the set you choose and fullness as well if it is a full set of lashes or a fill.

how long is the process?

Eyelash Extensions are a great way to extend the length and thickness of your eyelashes. They are applied on a hair-by-hair basis to your own eyelashes for a completely natural look.

The perm does not touch your skin, only a shield that we use adhesive on your eyelid to shape the lashes to. It is very rare that we experience any skin reaction, but if you have sensitive skin or just want to see if you are a candidate, please do not hesitate to come in for a patch test.

To see if you are sensitive to the glue, set up an appointment for a 24-hour patch test with our technicians and we will gladly help you out. We always want to ensure that our clients experience will always be comfortable!

Yes you can but you most likely will either use a small coating or you may ditch mascara all together! Absolutely don't use waterproof mascara as it can strip your lashes perm faster and can fade tint faster. Avoiding waterproof mascara ensures your lashes stay soft and moisturized!

Avoid water contact and any form of steam for 24 hours.

how long does it last?

Will my skin be sensitive?

Can I wear mascara with a lash lift?

Anything specific to avoid right after a lash lift?

Arrive with no eye makeup. This will help the lashes be clean and ready to receive the full effect of the lash perm.

It can also be helpful to remove contacts before your lash lift as your eyes will be closed for approximately 45 minutes and will help avoid irritation from any products.

Results last anywhere between 6-8+ weeks. This depends on the entire lifespan of a single lash which is every 60-90 days. New lashes will then be replenished, therefore, we ask that you come back every 8 weeks for your lash perm and no sooner than 6 weeks as we need most of the previously permed lashes to be shed out or mostly grown out.

Tint lasts approximately 4 weeks and can be retinted when you feel the color is fading.

Want to go even longer than 8 weeks in-between lash lifts?! We HIGHLY recommend using a lash serum daily. This helps with lash retention as well as it is a great way to nourish your lashes and keep them healthy!

what do i need to do before my appointment?

Yes. It is painless and non invasive. It is rather a quite relaxing experience. Minimal fume of the solution may be experienced initially but diminishes in a couple of seconds.

The perm solution we use is specially formulated for lashes.
Our technique ensures the best quality and results.

To ensure the safety and well being of our client, we highly don’t recommend lash perms to our clients that are pregnant or nursing.

Is it safe?

The process takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

how long is the process?

A Lash Lift is a perm for your lashes! This is a great way to enhance your natural lashes without the upkeep routine of lash extensions. Stick straight lashes are permed more straight up or curled back depending on your preference and eye shape. Lashes that already have a natural curl are accentuated even more with the help of a lash lift!

More about Lash Lifts

In the first 7-14 days, you'll need to avoid getting them wet, working out, any form of tanning or wearing brow makeup.

It takes about 6 weeks to completely heal, in which time you may experience mild scabbing.

Microblading itself is only appropriate for dry to normal skintypes. It is also not suitable for some mature skin clients.

Both of these styles are done with the handheld machine.

Powder brows can look very natural to very bold depending on the level you want. It looks like little powder pixels in the skin with skin breathing through it for a more natural effect or we can saturate more heavily to achieve an always done up look.

Ombre just means it fades lighter in the fronts and tops and is usually more saturated in the tails. These are my personal favorite styles as they can last for 2-3 years vs microblading which has about a 1 year lifespan. Touch-ups time varies depending on your lifestyle (using Retinol, laser facials or chemical peels, excessive sweating/working out, very oily skin, etc)

Microblading is not recommended for hiding scars, powder/shading is much better for that and looks more natural. If you still want hairstrokes throughout your brows, we can do a combination brow!

Combination Brows are referred to as Blade and Shade which is just what it sounds like! Microbladed or Nano hair strokes with the addition of shading with the handheld machine. This can help create a more natural brow if natural hairs are lacking.

Stay out of the sun and water while your PMU heals. Avoid chlorine, exfoliation creams, and sun exposure; they may cause your color to fade. You will be given in depth details during your appointment about the healing process as well. Avoid contact with water/sweat until after your flaking/scabbing stage is complete.

Who do you not recommend for this service?

It usually takes 3-4 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors and drawing eyebrow shapes.

The procedure itself is 45 minutes+.

How long is the appointment?

Most clients report little or no pain! We use a topical anesthetic before the procedure to numb the affected area. Clients have even fell asleep!

We offer a complimentary touch up for new clients between 6-8 weeks of your appointment. After that, we charge a separate fee.

When do i schedule a touch up?

Microbladed eyebrows last around 1-2 years for most people varying on lifestyle, before it usually needs a touch up. Powder brows last typically 3 years or so.

how long do treatments Last?

Microblading is the artistic technique of tattooing individual hair strokes with a handheld tool called a microblade. Unlike traditional tattooing, which uses a machine, microblading artists hand draw each hair. This results in gorgeous natural looking eyebrows.

Post-airbrush tanning session:

Day of tanning session maintenance is of utmost importance. Clients must follow these guidelines to improve the outcome of their spray tan:

Wear loose-fitting, dark, cotton clothing. Avoid silk; refrain from wearing close-toed shoes and socks, tight restrictive pants, tops, and bras; and do not wear white.
Remove perfumes, deodorants, and lotions before arriving at the spray tan appointment.
It is best to avoid using soaps and shampoos in the shower immediately before the tanning appointment, instead, the client should take a “bird bath” to gently remove residues with hand and water only.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day to hydrate the body and skin; hydration starts from the inside!
Avoid using oil-based products the day of tanning session, these oils could act as a barrier to DHA and cause an uneven development and lessen the longevity of a spray tan.

Day of airbrush tanning session:

How you maintain the tan is vital in the longevity of a spray tan. The first rinse should be a “bird bath” – no soaps or shampoos, these could affect development. Your technician will advise you when to shower for the proper development of color. Make sure you don't have contact with water before the recommended rinse time.

Clients must remember to constantly hydrate the skin and body by drinking plenty of water and applying a daily moisturizer, at least 1-2 times per day. Ideally, using a Tan Extend Lotion or a recommended spa-grade moisturizer is best. For those clients who wish to find an over the counter moisturizer, it is recommend to use a product that is oil-free, water-based, and contains minimal fragrance-this type of product will be best in improving the longevity of a spray tan. Clients should avoid using Coconut Oil as a moisturizer. Why? This concentrate can strip the tan rather than hydrate because of the oils.

Daily soaps and washes will also affect the longevity of a spray tan. It is best to use water-based oil-free products. Soaps and washes with harsh ingredients and a large number of sulfates will slowly strip the tan diminishing its lifespan.

Other helpful maintenance tips:

Activities that may cause excessive sweating (gym, yoga, and other exercises) can cause friction which will remove a tan.
Chlorine and Salt-Water are abrasive and act as exfoliators, it’s best to minimize exposure to these chemicals. Those clients on vacations who are exposed should be forwarned that their spray tans may not last the duration of the promised time.
Forms of exfoliation such as scrubs, chemical peels, and shaving will remove a tan. Minimize use of these products as much as possible.

To avoid uneven or blotchy areas of tan, it is essential to start exfoliating and hydrating the skin at least 2-3 days before your spray tan.

Exfoliation will help to remove any excess dead skin cells to reveal fresh, youthful skin. Exfoliation will also prep the skin exposing an even surface to spray, which in turn allows for an even application without error after the DHA is applied. At a minimum, it is recommended clients exfoliate and hydrate 24 hours before the spray tan session. Clients should use a spa grade exfoliator containing no oils for best results. Moisturizing is also vital in spray tan preparation. Adding moisture to the skin will decrease the chance of discoloration, patchiness, alligator skin, and overdevelopment in drier areas upon application. Remember: Hydrated skin is healthier, and healthy skin will “hold” onto those skin cells that have absorbed the DHA.

An important reminder for clients: All beauty appointments should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled tanning session. Services like pedicures, massages, and hair appointments can affect the outcome of a spray tan if done too close to the sunless appointment.
